David "Trey" William Nichols III's Obituary
David “Trey” William Nichols, III, 27, of Culpeper passed away Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born May 28, 1998, to David William Nichols, Jr., and Catherine Louise Nichols in Fairfax, VA.
Trey was known for his adventurous spirit. He found joy in water skiing, tubing, and roller skating. Some of Trey’s most cherished moments were visiting family and spending time in New Hampshire.
Trey is survived by his parents, David and Catherine; sister, Shannon Driver and husband, Kierin; paternal grandparents, David Nichols, Sr. and Linda Nichols; uncles, Michael David Nichols and Charles Simpson, III; aunt, Laura Hart; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
Trey is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles Simpson, Sr. and Nancy Simpson, and aunt Mary Caroline Simpson.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper with Pastor Brad Hales officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1 p.m.
Interment will be at Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord, NH, at a later date.
