David Allen Starkey (55), of Locust Grove, Virginia, passed away on November 23, 2022 as a result of a tragic car accident. David was born in Youngstown, Ohio, but spent most of his life in Virginia. He is survived by his mother, Read Obituary
Jane, I hope you know how much I wanted to be at David’s service today. Alas, I can’t be. You know how much Love and Respect I have for him. To be “the other grandma” to his kids put you and me in the same boat. I lost my daughter in 2017. I DO know how you feel. Many hugs, dear Jane. Prayers of Peace. To you AND D. I haven't seen David in many years. He came to the house for a cookout when my boys were younger. It's hard to believe it's been that long! (about 20 years 😲)
David has always had special place in my heart & he always will.
For me, he'll always remembered as that sweet, soft spoken boyfriend from my middle & high school years.

I also met David at Yaks while Broken Angel was playing. He always helped us with moving equipment in and out. Always had a smile on his face. Robert would let him run lights and he did a great job. Prayers to the family for comfort. Until we meet again.
