David (Day Day) was one of my brother and I's closest cousins growing up. Some of our fondest childhood memories were with David and his gracious family who were most loving and kind. Tony and I were blessed to have had such wonderful experiences. These memories will be cherished forever. David was a kind, light-hearted and loving. Always quick to laugh and be the comedian, his heart was ever filled with pure joy. My heart goes out to him and his family. With love and remembrance. Dottie Hunter
Dave was like no other father in law to me. He was a gentle giant and saw the good in all. Know that he is in Heaven fishing with the greatest fishman ever. Walk on Dave. We love you and will miss you always. CL and Dawn Nelson and your JJ

Some called him Big Dave, others called him Lumpy, but the closest to him knew him as Day Day. If he liked you, he didn't care what you called him, he was a true friend. For us, we were more like brothers. For 25 years or so we were basically inseparable, Day Day and Chucky. Just took some pics with him couple months back, shared a few laughs like we always did and he it was a good visit. My Brother I know you are in a good place now,and until I see you in God's Kingdom I am going to miss you terribly. Love you Brother !!!
The world has suffered a great loss. There was no one quite like Lumpy. So funny, vibrant, full of life and one of the best friends you could ask for. Thank you Lump for all the memories. You were truly one of the GREAT ones! My condolences to Bonnie, Wally, Chris, Brenda and all of the family, You will be missed. love you,
