We will never forget how much he wanted our daughter to have the biggest and best playhouse when we first moved into our house AND he made sure she got it by Christmas that year; such a sweet man!

Very saddened to hear of David's passing. My sincere condolences to everyone in his family. Many thanks to Carter Hipp for keeping us informed on David's situation while he was in the hospital. Like Brenda Maser, I remember David well and fondly from reunions and other gatherings, especially at Mama Kate's and Daddy Bunk's (Jones) farm.

So sorry to hear about Dave. He was one of a kind. The smile and the laugh. My fondest memories are the years he was Chief Deputy Sheriff and I was County Treasurer. We had a lot of good times and discussions. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. RIP my friend… 🙏

To the family of David Carter I am so very sorry for your loss! I thought for sure he would have done great with his heart surgery and was hoping for him a speedy recovery so he could get back on his tractor this spring. David was a great man and he knew his stuff about for the love of Cubcadet mowers. Also he one of the best I have known to be in law enforcement. He will greatly missed by everyone that knew him. At least I had the pleasure of chatting with him on face book. Just yesterday I had wondered how he was doing then I found out he passed away. May God Comfort You All During this Difficult time! He was just a great person. I am glad I got to know him over many years.

David was a life long friend and both Darrell and I are so sad to know we will no longer be able to hear his great wit, which always made us laugh. He had a great zest for life and was always there if you needed anything. We have so many fond memories of times with him and Rhoda and recently just keeping up with him on F B, where he was entertaining us all with his wit and knowledge. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rhoda and Tamara and the rest of his family. Rest in Peace my friend!
