Christine Marie Verhagen's Obituary
Christine Marie Verhagen passed away on June 25th, 2017 in a tragic car accident. It was shocking and sudden but she was not in pain.
An enthusiastic participant in life, she took in stray animals as well as people. She was involved in every facet of life, teaching herself new things that she was interested in. God called her early because He felt that her job here on earth was completed and she was in desperate need of a rest. She has raised three beautiful children who are well prepared for life. She will always be in our hearts and forever with us in spirit. It is an unbelievable loss but now she will be reunited with all her family and friends who went before and it will be just a matter of time before she gets the party started.
Christine is survived by three beautiful children, Amberleigh Verhagen Arav, Liam James Verhagen and Kyleah Mairead Verhagen; her life long protector and guardian to her children, Adrian Arav; her mother Margaret M. Verhagen and father William Harry Verhagen and stepfather Robert Jager; Nieces and nephews Ryan, Jeremy, Kaitlin Verhagen, Jacklyn Freitag, Faith Gorton , and Erin Verhagen; and siblings, William John Verhagen, Jennifer Ann Verhagen, Victoria Lynn Verhagen, Mark Andrew Verhagen and Gina Dawn Darling. Her sister, Kimberly Ellen Gorton, and stepdaughter Savannah Lynn Marrero predeceased her in 2012 and 2011
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Christine at 1:00 pm on July 1, 2017 at Precious Blood Catholic Church 114 East Edmondson Street, Culpeper, VA 22701.
