Cheryl Rose Bradley's Obituary
Cheryl Rose Bradley, 70, of King George County passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 in New Zealand near Touranga.
She was born April 5, 1946 to the late Marion W. and Doris R. Rose.
Cheryl attended school in Spotsylvania County and Fredericksburg graduating from James Monroe High School in 1964. She attended Longwood College from 1964-1968 where she majored in Science and Education. While there she was active in drama where she met Thomas Bradley in the combined Hampton Sydney/Longwood Drama group.
Cheryl married Thomas Bradley on December 16, 1967 in Fredericksburg.
She taught Science at both King George High and Middle School from 1968 until she retired due to health reasons in 2004.
Cheryl was a member of Oakland Baptist Church in King George, attended New Life in Christ in Fredericksburg, as well as Shiloh Baptist Church.
Her loves besides family and students were photography, camping when she was younger, cruising as she got older, and jewelry making.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Thomas; her daughter, Heather Bradley; as well as other family members and numerous friends.
Cheryl’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
