Please accept my sincere condolence to the family of Charlotte W. Larson. I wasn't aware of her passing until I returned home from surgery yesterday. I had the pleasure of working with her at Pearl Sample School, in fact she was one of Pearl Sample School's first teachers. She was a dedicated teacher who shared her love of children and one who discharged her duties in a professional manner. My mother taught with Charlotte at Sycamore Park and then I taught with her at Floyd T. Binns. She blessed me when my daughter Molly was born 31 years ago with a handmade baby quilt made especially for my baby daughter, Molly, every patch was different, all in shades of pink. My daughter still cherishes that quilt which is now showing its age, but has many memories tied up in it. I remember Charlotte as always ready to help both students and her fellow teachers.
