Charlie Puller Sr.'s Obituary
Charlie Puller, Sr., 76, of Culpeper went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Novant Health UVA Health Systems Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was born January 5, 1944 to the late James and Lula Puller in Orange, VA. Charlie was educated in the Orange County Virginia Public School System. He was a member and Trustee of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was employed by Cargill/ Ardent Mills for 48 years and TAFT Services, LLC for 8 years. Charlie loved meeting and communicating with people on a daily basis. Charlie loved watching his favorite TV shows and movies, especially the show Power. He loved listening to his radio in the mornings, The Steve Harvey Show, 96.3 and Sunday Morning Gospel. He also loved talking trips, but most of all he loved spending precious time with his loving family. Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his children, Charlie Puller, Jr., Elizabeth Marie Richards, Shrone Puller, David Stanton, and Gloria Stanton; his fiancé, Denise Winston; siblings, James Puller, George Puller, Helen Banks, and Katherine Pollard, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his siblings, Anna Mae Morris, Dora Starks, Arthur Puller, Mary Bailey, Norma Jean, Gertrude Puller, William Puller, and Carolyn Booker. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. Due to COVID mandates, masks are required when entering the building. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Ernest Thompson and Rev. Ludwell Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charlie’s grandsons, Andre Puller, Cordell Puller, Dimitri Stanton, Philip Samuel, Duane Jackson, and Davon Noakes.
