Charles Raymond Woodard, 81, of Culpeper, died Saturday, September 14, 2024 at his home. He was born March 8, 1943, in Culpeper County to the late Harry and Catherine Woodard. Charles is survived by his wife, Tilta Marie Foster W Read Obituary
While working at Wolfford Electric, “Woody” earned the respect of his fellow employees due to his work ethic and constantly moving and staying busy. He out worked guys that were decades younger than him. He was reliable and extremely dependable. Woody was a class act and was admired by many and he will truly be missed!

I’m Wendi Wolfford. I was married to Charles and Marie’s son Ray. Charles was the best father in law I could have ever dreamed of. He was always kind to me and both Devin and Rachel. He treated my kids as his grandkids and they loved him as their granddad. Before Joyce passed we were going to get together but she passed and I didn’t know how to contact Charles and Marie. You will always be my father in law in my heart Charles. Rest in Jesus arms. Marie I don’t know how to get hold of you, but if you need me for anything I’m here. I’m so sorry and I love you!
I worked with Woody at Wolford Electric and to say that he was a great friend is an understatement. Many talks going up and down the road and I learned a lot from him not only about work but life. He will be truly missed.
