Mike and I were just one year apart in age. Whenever he would visit our grandparents, we enjoyed playing together as kids. I spent a week with his family in Va when I was just about 10-11. I remember his red rosey cheeks, smile and laughter. He was a jokester. I was fortunate to have met up with him just a few years ago when I was in Gatlinburg TN. We had a nice visit over dinner and caught up on our lives. He spoke of his children and grandchildren with love. RIP. First cousin, Jennifer Sampson Taylor
