God rest your sweet soul, Mr. Racer. What a wonderful man. Sympathy and prayers to your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with Grannie, Christy, The Girls, & the rest of the family. May God give you all peace & comfort during this time. Pap was a great man who had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. I'm so thankful & grateful that he was apart of my childhood & life. He will be truly missed by so many. RIP PAP!!!

My Pappy was my hero, my rock, my best friend. He was known by many, and loved by even more! If you ever had a chance to get to know him then you for sure had a smile on your face and made a friend for life. He would give you the shirt off his back, and do whatever he could to help you! He lived his life to the fullest and made the best of everything possible. He always kept a positive attitude! He loved his wife of 59 years more than anything, she was his heart and soul. He would just look at her and smile and blow kisses at her. It was the sweetest thing. He loved his entire family so much! I had the joy of growing up with him and my grannie in his household from the age of 2, and I would not have had it any other way. He taught me so much during my lifetime and I will carry it for eternity. I had the joy of having my first child on his bday. He was a blessing to both my kids and to myself. When I lost him a piece of my heart died as well. But I know he is my guardian angel and is watching over Grannie, and the family. Pappy we love you and we will miss you so much!!!!!
I love you my Dapper Papper!!!! I wont let you down!!
My grandpa was the greatest man that has ever lived, in my opinion. If you never got to meet him, then sadly you missed out on someone pretty amazing. he could make ANYONE smile. his presence on earth will be greatly missed and still loved, but im glad he's not in pain anymore, and is able to run around, bail hay and see his dog pete again. I love more than words can express pap!
Charlie was one of our favorite people! His kind and gentle nature was notable and he took good care of Hanna, Maddie, Andrew and Ben. You will be so missed....we love you! We are sending prayers to the family as you move through this transition. God Bless you.
Melanie, Hanna, Maddie, Andrew and Ben Kopjanski
Mr. Racer, while you weren't my bus driver, I had the pleasure of riding Bus #19 many times throughout the years and always loved to see you and your big smile. You truly were one of the best, always smiling and always so kind. I feel fortunate to have known you in my life. May you rest in peace with the angels in the heavens above. God bless you, Mr. Racer. My thoughts & prayers to your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Charley Racer longtime school bus driver for the Rappahannock County Public Schools . He was the nicest - and funniest - person, and did a great job driving children safely to and from school. I visited Charley a couple weeks ago. Sad that I will be out of state and unable to attend his funeral. Charley. you will be missed! Bob Chappell
