Charles was always happy and he wanted others to be happy. We appreciate his insights into Scripture as we studies together in Sunday School. In church, he was known as the "Amen" corner. Charles had a servant's heart. He was always ready to serve others without any expectation of anything in return. Charles modeled the Apostle Paul who said to be content to be in the state we are in. Charles was always content. That is the legacy that will live on for the rest of us to achieve. Thank you for sharing your life with us, Charles.
I am sorry for the loss of your brother! My prayers are with you, Jimmy and your entire family. I still miss my brother Otis every day! God keep you.

It was always a joy to spend time with Charles. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. We know he is enjoying fellowship with Jesus today.
We love you Charles! The Ross family
As you sat and listened to the Pastor preach, you would hear this spunky old voice say "AMEN" several times throughout the sermon. As you looked over to the happy-go-lucky white haired man sitting in the second row, you would see him with his note pad in one hand and pencil in the other, passionately taking notes as he processed every word he heard.
He walked into church each Sunday with a full grin smile saying hello to many and hugs for others. Each week without fail, he would tell me, "I LOVE YOU" with an assurance and a nod. He was a kind soul with a big heart.
Charles Furr you will be greatly missed and NEVER forgotten. You showed us what it means to love like Jesus. I also think of "Raise up a child in the way he should go, so when he is old he will not depart from it"... He never departed, as His Light shined Bright through You always Charles!
What a glorious day this is, as there is not doubt you are Rejoicing in Heaven, and to that I say "AMEN". ~Love, Dawn Louizes
We have such wonderful memories of spending time with the Furrs. Everyone loved visiting Mildred and Willie and the kids. It was always a great time with really good food. Chuck was always so kind and thoughtful. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
You will always be remembered for your love and sweet kindness; so many fond memories of you when I was a little girl, as you were my chaperon many times and it will never be forgotten. I am happy Merissa got to know and I will never forget the time we were in the nursing home together, I working and Merissa and my mom visiting your mom; you and Merissa pushing the wheelchair through the halls and you letting Merissa pretend she was a nurse; this will forever be a cherished memory. Your legacy of kindness will live on forever. My condolences to the family.

I have so many great memories going to visit the Furr family with my parents and my siblings. We all adored Chuck and his entire family. As an Adult Chuck always made my day brighter by smiling and giving me such nice compliments. Lewis and I will be keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.
