I am so sad to learn of Chuck's death! I served with Chuck in the early 1970's in 29 Palms, California. We were fellow electronics instructors. Kathy and Chuck and my Jackie were very good friends and did a lot together with our families. Jackie passed away in 1999. Chuck was always a lot of fun and a very nice Guy! I surely miss my friend!

I'm so very sorry to hear of Chuck's death. I had the great pleasure of working with him at ONR. He was so very pleasant, accommodating and responsive and always had a smile for all. I've missed him since his retirement and I am so saddened to know that his life was cut short. May the many wonderful memories of him live on in your family and with those of us who really really appreciated his thoughtfulness and his kindness. I am sorry to hear of your loss.

I too had the pleasure of knowing Chuck from his days at ONR. I missed his smile and "can do" attitude he brought with him everyday when he left. I was proud to know him. May God bless you and give you all strength through faith at this time

Wow , words can not express my sympathy for the family, during this difficult time. I grew up on Quantico with Mr Chuck and Ms Kathy as neighbors , Angel & Mike & I were inseperable , I just found them on FB last week or so ago , and now I see this , losing a parent is hard , I have lost both of mine , however knowing that they are in a much better place keeps me going ...

I worked with Chuck at the Office of Naval Research. He was one of the most genuinely nice guys I have ever met. We mostly chatted and shared stories outside over a cigarette, always the gentleman with his lighter close at hand to light the ladies cigarettes. You could ask Chuck for anything and know that you didn't need to remind him because he would get the job done. I miss him and people like him who provide that kind of service and take that kind of pride in their jobs. I was very saddened to hear of his passing and know that its not only I who will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
