Charles Sealor Bourne Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Sealor Bourne, Sr., 86, of King George County passed away Friday, June 13, 2014.
Charlie co-owned Charlie’s Crab House with his wife, and worked as a commercial waterman for 50 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 290, and a Washington Nationals fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Charlie is survived by a son, Charles S. Bourne, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of King George; a sister, Grace Poates and her husband, Percy of Spotsylvania County; a grandson, Nathan Bourne and his wife, Kristina of Stafford County; a granddaughter, Sydney Bourne and step-grandson, Lance Richardson, both of King George; a great-grandson, Chase Bourne of Stafford, and a great granddaughter, Baylee Mae Bourne of King George.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Mae Dobson Bourne and his parents, Clarence and Agnes Bourne.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Bob Ellinger officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Charlie’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to White Oak Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Betty Joe Lael, 9701 Peppertree Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
