Carroll William Glasker, Jr.'s Obituary
Carroll William Glasker Jr., 69 of Culpeper, departed this life on February 13, 2025, at his home. Carroll Jr. was born July 26, 1955, to the late Carroll Sr. and Gertrude Mae Nibblins Glasker in Culpeper, VA.
He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Ann Banks (Tom) and Sandra Lee Banks all of Culpeper, VA. He is survived by one Aunt, Dorothy Nibblins of Gilbert, Arizona.
In addition, to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Ronnie O. Glasker, brother-in-law Paul A. Banks, and his life partner, David E. Billett.
He is survived by one nephew, Col. Christopher D. Banks (USAF) of Kathleen, GA., four nieces, Stephanie Cropp (Calvin), Courtney Tanner (Cordell), Teanna Banks, all of Culpeper, VA and Naomi Wolf of Augsburg, Germany. He always treated his two cousins as sisters, Kym Majors of Gilbert, Arizona, and Sharon Rivas of Greenbelt, Maryland. He is survived by three great nieces, Sydnee Banks of Kathleen GA., Calyse Banks and Autymn Cropp of Culpeper, VA and three great nephews, Camdin Banks of Kathleen, GA., Carson Tanner and Tyson Cropp both of Culpeper, VA.
Carroll was an avid dog lover. You would often see him walking his poodles down main street. Carroll graduated from Culpeper County High School in 1973, and continued his education at James Madison University of Harrisonburg, VA, graduating May 7, 1977, with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Carroll Jr. was baptized on March 12, 1967, by the Rev. Robert C. Davis at Antioch Baptist Church, Culpeper, VA. Carroll was part owner of David Eddy’s Gift Shop of Culpeper for 30+ years. He also worked their part time. His full-time job was with Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services as a Senior Advocate for over 30 years; now know as (Encompass of Culpeper).
Carroll will truly be missed by his family and friends, for God has truly called and angel home.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Sheldon Pleasant officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
