I shall remember the many adventures we shared, like going to the state fair, going to the VVA conferences, knowing we could count on each other if we ever needed anything. And I knew not to call on Sunday afternoons for it was Nascar time. I will miss my friend for just being the caring person she was and we would just call to chat and see what we had been up to. Loved you Carol with all my heart you were awesome friend.

Meeting Mrs Ranney at Barry’s wedding was the highlight for me. I went to Barry’s house to pickup all the food and related items and I met Carol there. We IMMEDIATELY hit it off as I am a USCG veteran and upon hearing her work with Viet Nam War Veterans … I was immediately struck by her authenticity. Her story of riding her trike from upstate NY was also a VERY colorful story. She was a true adventurer. The Apple certainly did not fall far from the tree with Barry and Grandson Evan. She was a trooper and my wife and I enjoyed our time with her. My wife and I are richer from our meeting of Carol. May she rest in peace … and now she can ride without ever stoping for gas !!! Ride on Carol !! Ride on !!’
