In our adolescence, whenever my Mother visited her friend, Anna Mae Spicer, Carla and I would spend our time together, 2- Knight cuz'ns, swinging on the Spicer's porch swing, since her grandfather and grandmother (my uncle and aunt George & Myrtle) lived next-door. Years slipped by, as they always do, and we didn't see each other again until the 2018 Knight reunion, where we reminisced about that old porch swing! I was glad we had that opportunity to see one another again! So sad to hear of Carla's passing. I want to take this time to share my thoughts and prayers with her family for their loss.
