To the family of Britt Gore--I was an admiring neighbor of Britt for several years here at the cottages of the Colonnades, including the period of Bob's declining health. She managed to maintain a cheerful "stiff upper lip" and never lost her positive outlook. When feral cats appeared in our neighborhood, she was quick to volunteer to care for them, including the provision of food and veterinary visits as needed. Down-to-earth and commonsensical, she had definite likes and dislikes, although she did not express them obtrusively. I will miss her colorful flags, her unassuming demeanor, and her indomitable spirit. You were fortunate to have her with you, and I'm sure she has left you with many rich memories to savor.
