To the Family, my deepest sympathy for your loss. I came to know Brian by working traffic for the grade-separation project in Albemarle Co. Many a night we would talk about anything and everything but especially his family. He was very devoted to all of you and especially his grandchildren, which he couldn't say enough about. He also had a strong dedication to his job and all those under him he considered his family as well. He cared about their well-being and took it personally if anything happened to any of them. But when it was time to be boss he could do that too.
I was deeply saddened to hear about his loss and may God be with each and every one of you.
