Mr. Willie Bill Varney, Jr., 76 of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, September 26 at his home. Willie retired from the Washington Post in 1993 as a Photo Engraver. He is a veteran of the USArmy serving during the Korean Conflict. Read Obituary
Bill Varney was my uncle and I am sorry it has taken so long to leave a message to the family. I only knew he had passed away but didn't know when or where. My Dad was Bill's brother, Earnest Varney. I lost him in July of 2010 and now all of the Varney men are gone. I haven't seen Uncle Bill since I was young but I never forgot him. I hope Cheryl is well. I remember her when she was a little girl along with her brother.
