Betty J. Leake's Obituary
Betty J. Leake, 81 of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy L. Leake, Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly K. Musick and husband, Bobby; and a son, Leroy L. Leake, Jr. and wife, Linda, all of Fredericksburg; a sister, Ethel Jim; and three brothers, Frank, Irvin and Curtis Jim, all of New Mexico; a sister-in-law, Edna Leake of Hartwood; seven grandchildren, John E. Guillotte, II, Bobby A. Musick, Stephanie A. Mayden, Christine M. Kerszulis, Stephen M. Leake, Benjamin M. Leake, and Nicholas P. Leake; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Salem Fields Community Church, 11120 Gordon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 with Pastor Kelly Padgett officiating. Betty’s family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers Betty’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
