Betty J. Leake, 81 of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy L. Leake, Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly K. Read Obituary
My prayers and love are with you and the family at this time Leroy! I am so sorry for your loss but know you have many wonderful memories to carry you through life. She was a wonderful Mom and this is very evident by the friend you are to all of your SHS 79er classmates.

grandma I miss you soo much it was like you were my own grandma!! well I thought of you as my own, you were such a sweet lady, very out going! fun to be around. and not to mention you were a great cook, great at sewing! and you loved playing bingo!! its still unreal to me that your not here anymore. but I know your in a way better place and your not suffering anymore. I said this once and ill say it again remember grandma you kicked cancers butt, cancer didn't kick yours!! I hope your having fun in heaven with my grandma and pop-pop and your husband! and keep a eye on all of us down here!!
