Well hey there my main man Ben!! How ya been my son? Miss ya a lot! Think of you ALL the time and you are ALL around me every day! Robin Clatterbuck and I put the last of your ashes on your rose bush along with the brick you made while in school in Orange Virginia! I know that you have moved on and I accept that...I wish you could have waited but it is ok! You told me to hurry when you last visited! I did get your very personal message. I don't know why you picked that way to get my attention, it defiantly got my attention and I knew how urgent it was for me to hurry! Ben evidently we shall meet again at the table of our ancestors, Odin tells me so! We are both warriors of the Kyff/Irmischer Clans of long ago. Viking and Celts, we will remain together in life and death! We were together the night of your death. In our final moments together I felt you, I smelled you, I looked into your eyes as we spoke our final words to each other. You know what those words were! Well here it is Christmas Eve Morning and your heavy on my mind as usual. It's been a long time since I've written to you, but doesn't mean I haven't thought about you. I do that EVERY day, and I know you know that. I'm sure your aware of everything that goes on in my life, because you are and will always be a part of my life. You know how much I miss you...and how much I want to see you again! I try not to ask too much of you, but when I do, you always come through for me....especially when I need a "Benny Dream". It was nice that Preston was a part of your last dream, and it was like old times with you two. Sweet, Sweet Memories!

There are a couple new Angels in Heaven and I hope you get to meet them.....Jordan DuPriest, 12 years old, was our church Ride In Recipient two years ago, and Ellie Blaine a little 2 year old girl from Orange. I met Ellie's family at the Big Damn Bike Show at Waugh's. Jordan is a riot, and guaranteed to make you laugh, and little Ellie, better know as "Princess Ellie" will be dressed in pink and has a smile that will melt your heart! Jordan and Ellie both were victims of cancer, and they both put up a good fight. I'm sure you will show them the ropes in heaven, and will be like a big brother to them. You always were so good with kids...and they always enjoyed being around you. It breaks my heart that their parents will have to experience the pain and agony of loosing their precious child...something NO parent should ever have to endure. I often wonder, is it "easier" for a parent who knows their child has a illness and that there is a chance they might not make it, versus a loss that came out of nowhere? One day your there and the next your not. No time to prepare...the thought of loosing my only child never even entered my mind. At least with Jordan and Ellie, their parents had more time to gather the video's and all the special pictures, and time to make those special memories....because they knew it was a possibility.

Regardless of the answer to that question, a loss is a loss, none are easy. The only words of wisdom I can pass along to them, is that their child will ALWAYS be with them in their hearts and even though we can't "see" our children, our children are there...in mind and spirit. At times, I feel your presence Benjamin and I'm so thankful for that, and there is nothing better then receiving a "sign" or a "gift" from above. So, keep them coming and when your able, your visits are ALWAYS welcomed! Love you bunches!!

Ben....My son...I miss you! When we talked about if this ever happened that I would accept that it was your time but that I would cry alot and think of you always. I never thought it would be come a reality....Ben I know you want me to stop crying for you but I cant... Not because of any other reason but that I love you so much. You rst peacefully now my sweet baby boy. Forgive my inadiquacies as a father. I did the best I knew how...I an am so thankful to god that our last words to each other were "I love yo son" to wich you replied "I love you to Dad". Ben I cry alot and I miss you every single moment and I anxiously await our reunion in heaven.

Dearest Ben,
Reliving the events of two years ago is so hard! July and August have turned into months of sadness for me. First celebrating your birthday, and then to be followed by your Anniversary. You know Benjamin, I've come to realize that these dates are just a reminder of loosing you and not having you here with me. I suffer from that lose everyday, and to have these "special dates", just means that I need to focus on celebrating your life, and being so thankful that God allowed me to be your mom for 21 wonderful, glorious years...and thankful I am. You brought me so much joy and happiness Benjamin and I am so proud to be your mom, and that can never be taken away from me.
You convinced me the other night, that you really do hear my wishes, and you fulfilled my dream, and I did remember. I just wish I hadn't woken up and could have visited longer with you. I'll try harder next time to control myself, but I've always been "emotional" especially when it comes to you. I know your busy watching over SO many people, so I'll be patient and wait my turn. Thanks for all the "Benny Pennies", and beautiful "heart stones"....my collection is really growing and I treasure each and every one.
Sending you all my love and you know your ALWAYS welcome! Can't wait to see you again, but until then, I'll do my best to live for both of us!!
