Barney Allen Wells passed away peacefully at his home on February 14, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1939 in Boissevain, Virginia to the late Mr. & Mrs. William Edgar Wells. Barney served in the United States Army during the Viet Read Obituary
Barney was a special friend. Our early days at IBM and even later. We had fun together and would get together to watch West Virginia football games. Times we spent at the Holiday Inn in Frederick dancing and listening to live music. I thank him for his service to our country. May God bless and comfort his family and hold them close during this time.

Barney & I worked together during our early IBM careers, and I always enjoyed his guidance, humor and wit. We lost touch for many years when IBM moved the work mission from Maryland to Virginia, Barney & I reacquainted with each other through Facebook. R.I.P. my friend,
