Arthur Kenneth Smoot's Obituary
Arthur Kenneth Smoot, 54, of Culpeper died Friday, February 6, 2015 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1960 in Culpeper to the late C. H. Smoot and the late Ethel Kennedy Smoot.
Arthur worked his whole adult life in the Hydro seeding and landscaping field. He truly enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Arthur was always a man willing to help anyone in need, an honest and helpful man that will be greatly missed by those he loved and those that loved him.
Arthur is survived by his three children; Brittany Nicole Smoot, Blake Kenneth Smoot, and Noel Cecilia Smoot and one granddaughter Mila Smoot.
Additional survivors include his brothers; Charles William Smoot and his wife, Pat of Brandy Station, Thomas Jackson Smoot of Elkton, Ronald Dale Smoot and his wife, Tammy of Nokesville, Todd R. Smoot and his wife Teresa of Midland and Garrison Kirk Hawkins and his wife Ginger of Manassas. He is also survived by his sisters; Barbara Jean Jenkins and her husband, Doug of Chantilly, Jane Elizabeth Jarrell and her husband, Mark of Burr Hill, Betty Gentry and her husband, Mike of Spotsylvania, Brenda Sue Smoot and her companion Steven Boxley of Brightwood and Fonda Gail Keyser and her husband Bruce of Manassas and one sister in law, Virginia Smoot.
In addition to his parents Arthur is preceded in death by two brothers; Curtis Lee Smoot and Douglas Wayne Smoot.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 12 noon in the Found and Sons chapel with Rev. Kevin Dawson officiating.
Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
