We were so sorry to hear that Tony has left us. He may not be here physically, but he'll always be in our hearts. There are so many memories of the times we shared. Our Golfing at Nora and Dicks in North Carolina, St. Patrick's Day parties, our afternoon chats and the 4pm cocktail hours we spent with both of you at Possum Trot. Bruce and Keith will always remember how surprised Tony was when they went down to visit and you Gilda kept the surprise for them. We were also remembering the times we played at Aberdeen, Long Bay, Waterway Hillls and how everyone at these clubs gave us the royal treatment because we were with Tony. Whenever we have Chicken cutlets we,ll think of the dinners he made for us and his special toast with Drambuie before we left to go home. Gilda , you and Tony had a very special love and it was obvious whenever we were with you. We feel blessed to have known this very special man. Gina, Tony, Michael and Steven your Dad loved you all very much and boasted about any chance he could. We will miss him very much. Bruce [ your "Godson"] & Nancy
Since moving to Myrtle Beach in 1998, I have been very blessed to spend some quality time with Uncle Tony & Aunt Gilda. We often visited them in their home where we laughed about days gone by and things to come. I used to tease him that he sounded like the Godfather with his raspy voice....he would just chuckle and say "So I've been told...often". He was always upbeat and very pleasant to spend time with. I greatly enjoyed his stories of his childhood, and his younger days with Aunt Gilda. Those stories, along with Uncle Tony will be greatly missed. I love you with all my heart Uncle Tony, and I will see you one day on the other side of the rainbow, in God's House. May you rest in peace! Love you!
To the entire Cerrito family:
I briefly knew Tony and only met him a few times when, unfortunately, Gilda was sick and not doing so well. I will always remember the love and devotion I witnessed that Tony shared for his wife and family. My prayer is for you and your family to share in the many memories and blessings that you have of Tony to help you during this difficult time. May God Bless you all.
Our love,
Brian, Teisha and Jackson Hennecy
