Annette E. DeSantis' Obituary
Annette DeSantis, 59, of Newark Delaware passed away Friday September 1st at her niece’s home in Culpeper VA surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse New York, Annette’s love for music began at a young age following in her father’s footsteps to continue on the DeSantis musical legacy. She became proficient in guitar, piano, violin, cello, flute & harmonica. Annette went on to refine her craft by studying music at Syracuse University. In her early years she performed around Central New York with the band Laura and the Leg Warmers. She later formed the band Eves Faces touring up and down the east coast producing several albums and was most proud of her last CD. Outside of her music career, Annette enjoyed spending time outdoors, swimming and vacationing at the beach. She was a devoted animal lover her entire life.
Annette was predeceased by her father James, mother Cecelia, brother Timothy, sister Diane, brother in law Robert McRobbie as well as her beloved pets Spooky, Deacon and Jojo.
She is survived by her daughter Jonna DeSantis of Tampa FL, life partner of 35 years Jeffrey Moore of Newark DE, sister Mary (Dan) Cerio of Cicero NY, brother James (Susan) DeSantis of Tonawanda NY, sister Kathleen McRobbie of Clay NY, sister Cecelia (George) Barrett of Cicero NY, sister Marguerite DeSantis of East Syracuse NY, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held in December in Syracuse NY.
