When I met Annie many years ago, we were friends instantly! We had a lot in common, including our three boys. She was a loving, devoted, caring and compassionate mom and grand-mom. She talked constantly about her children and her grandchildren, and how proud she was of all of them. She was the a epitome of a true Mother, showing her unconditional love , always. In her obituary it said she had an infectious smile-that was so very true. We both got busy in our own lives and drifted away from one another. But when we did get together it was a great reunion. Recently over the last year we got to have many more reunions We started meeting for lunch. Annie really enjoyed her food and always managed to make a happy plate. One day it turned out, we were both going to go Costco after lunch so we came back to the house, picked up Tom , and headed to Costco. We had the best time together! 😂We looked at everything in that store it seemed. Then we came back to the house and sat in the garage and just talked. She had much to tell me and much more yet to teach me. I was so blessed for having Annie Mundy in my life. She approached her illness as she did many things in her life, her way. She never seemed frightened or anxious, always just smiling and calm. She lived life on her own terms, and that’s what made her so special. One day we will have our final reunion in Heaven.
RIP Dear Annie
