Anita Crotts
Anita Lynne Crotts, 58, of Spotsylvania passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009 at University of Virginia Medical Hospital.
Anita had a great love of gardening, archeology, anthropology, and old-time music.
She was a founding member of Bluemont Concert Series in Fredericksburg, a lifetime member of Friends of the Rappahanock, and a member of the local master gardeners.
Anita is survived by her loving companion, Jim Steele of Spotsylvania; one brother, Arlin P. Crotts, Jr. of New York City and his wife, Paola; one sister, Aletha L. Helm of Springfield and her husband, Daniel; her special neice, Katie Helm; and numerous loving relatives in North Carolina.
Anita’s family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 5:00 ~ 8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels ~ Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 1742 East Parham Road Richmond, VA 23228.
