Althea L. Pohle Cree, 92, of Fredericksburg died Friday, April 29, 2011, at her home. She was a resident of Fredericksburg since her husband retired from Mack Truck in 1985. She lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Read Obituary
A warm, sweet lady/ Grandmother/ GREAT-Grandmother whom we were blessed to know. Grandma Cree will be sadly missed. However, I know we can all take comfort in our Christian faith that she is in a better place and at peace now.

I have lots of fond memories of Aunt Althea. I remember as a child visiting her in NJ with my mom, taking the train to NYC and taking the ferry ride, going to the Empire State building, Macey's, etc.. I remember a darling little satin purse she gave me. I wish I'd lived closer to be able to visit more often with her in her old age. I'll miss her.
