Alouise Friedman's Obituary
Alouise Friedman, 89, of Culpeper went home to be with her Lord on Monday, January 26, 2015. She was born April 12, 1925 at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC to the late Susie Lee Durham Snellings Friedman and Albert Julius Friedman.
She worked for the British Ministry of Supply from 1943-1946. Miss Friedman went to work for Sessions and Caminita a prominent public relations firm from 1946-1964. She then worked for the Department of Housing and Urban Development as a management analyst for the office of budget until her retirement in 1995.
She leaves to mourn her death two nieces, Paula Snellings Bell and Brenda Alderton; one nephew, Joel Snellings; numerous great nieces, nephews, great great nieces and nephews; and her loving caregivers, Shelia Carter, Tamma Greene, Peggy White and Pat Banks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles B. Snellings; and her sister, Virginia Snellings Alderton.
Alouise has touched the hearts of many. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and church family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with Elder Gary Utz and Elder John Nichols officiating.
Interment will follow at Good Hope Baptist Church 2930 Beautiful Run Rd. Radiant, VA 22732.
