Allen was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. I didn't know him well, but he was always present at my late brother's birthday celebrations and enjoyed family life. I have known his wife Linda since we were girls of 6 or 7, and I especially wish to extend to her all the love and encouragement possible to wish for anyone. I know their children and extended family will comfort her at this time of terrible loss.
