Allen Ray Britt, 74, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home. Allen was born May 17, 1939 in Gwinneth County, Georgia to the late Marion Davis and Rache Ezzard Britt. He was the fifth of nine siblings. Read Obituary
Mr. Britt was a kind gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor. Whenever you talked with him he always praised the Lord for what he was doing in his life. Mrs. Britt, Andy and family, we know you will miss him. Our prayers are with you and we love you in the Lord. Patrick and Sandra Shockley
I look at the picture of Mr. Britt posted here and can't help but smile. :) Mr. Britt's smile always invited others to smile along with him, and it is a sweet thing to think of how happy he is now in the presence of his Savior! Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Mrs. Britt and Andy.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Britt. There are a few things in life that hurts as much as the death of a loved one. Mr. Britt was a teacher at my school in Petersburg, Va. We didnt always see eye to eye but he supported Andrew always.

I was saddened to hear of your loss, but joy to know he is now with our Lord and Saviour. We have so many precious memories of you at Grace, when you lived close to us and then of the phone conversations. What a caring man Mr. Britt was! What a faithful servant for our Lord! My heart and prayers are with. May you sense God's comfort wrapping you closely.

My fondest memories of Mr. Britt were at Thanksgiving dinners where he and my Dad would talk for endless time - sharing stories, enjoying life. I also recall his love for the children in his life. His love and kindness will be missed. Love to all the family left behind.
