Alice Poulson's Obituary
Alice Breeden Poulson, 91, of Culpeper died on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 13, 1919 in Culpeper, VA to the late Claude and Adena Sisk Breeden.
Mrs. Poulson was a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and the Culpeper Methodist Church. She loved to crochet and play golf and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, George E. Poulson, two sons, George Poulson, Jr. and his wife, Hannah Brown of Clifton, VA and Freddy Poulson and his wife, Wendy of Salem, VA, one brother, Claude Simms Breeden of Springfield, VA, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 5 siblings.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. John Farrar officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Poulson’s name to the Dementia Care Foundation, 69531 213th St. Darwin, MN 55324.
