I am saddened to read that Miss Alice has passed away. My heart goes out to her beloved husband, Mr. George Poulson, Sr. The Bible says, ‘He who finds a good wife, one has found a good thing and one gets goodwill from Jehovah.’ (Proverbs 18:22) I am so encouraged by your life long marriage of 71 years! May you and the rest of the family be comforted from God’s word the Bible-with the prospect we have of seeing her again in the future (John 5:25, 26, 28, 29). Jehovah God promises to 'wipe every tear from our eyes, and that death and pain, mourning and outcry will be taken away’ from earth forever (Revelation 21:3-5). Then, our earthly home will be transformed into a beautiful and peaceful place to live (Psalms 37:9-11, 29, and 34); where ‘the old will become young and strong again’ (Job 33:25); and ‘no more sickness’ (Isaiah 33:24)! I trust, as you read and ponder over these divine promises, that they will console you and fortify your hope as you cope from day-to-day. You have my deepest sympathy.
