Alice Jane Brown's Obituary
Alice Jane Brown, 87, of Culpeper, died Monday, November 11, 2024, at The Culpeper. She was born March 1, 1937, in Newark, NJ to the late Joseph and Emma Heinzman.
Alice was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and the Culpeper Women’s Club. She was a graduate of Cedar Crest College and a sewing enthusiast.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Benjamin Brown; two sons, Jonathan F. Brown and Gregory C. Brown; five grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Victoria Brown, Emily Shepherd, Austin Shepherd, and Vee Brown; and one sister-in-law, Joan Heinzman.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Heinzman.
A funeral service will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E Edmondson St, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Father Joseph Vu officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
