It has been my pleasure to know Alice for over 23 years because we were next-door neighbors. She was always kind, loving, and supportive of those around her. When she greeted one at her door, she always had her beautiful smile and the little chuckle that was unique to her. She was devoted to John and to her family members and would do anything for them. She was definitely the mistress of her kitchen, and her talents as a seamstress were seen in every window covering in the house. In many ways, she was the Proverbs 39 woman who is described as capable, strong, industrious, generous, and respected. My sympathy goes out to all her family and friends. She will be missed.
