Zeny Guzman Scott's Obituary
Zeny Guzman Scott, 80, of Bealeton, Virginia, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
One of six children, Zeny was born in the Philippines on January 17, 1938, to Valerio and Cipriana Guzman. After moving to the Washington, D.C. area by way of Canada, she spent the early part of her career at the World Bank before retiring from the Central Intelligence Agency in the year 2000. As a classically trained pianist, with a particular fondness for the works of Frédéric Chopin, she spent many evenings filling her home with music. Zeny enjoyed traveling and cherished spending time with friends and family. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.
Zeny is survived by her husband and best friend of 48 years, Joseph; two sons, Brian and Marc; daughter-in-law, Alina; grandson, Parker; brother, Valerio; sister, Carmen; and other loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Wilfredo, Victoria, and Seraphin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Quantico National Cemetery.
