Woodrow Wilson Woodward, Jr.'s Obituary
Woodrow Wilson Woodward, Jr., 72, of Lignum died Thursday, September 24, 2015. He was born November 14, 1942 in Remington to the late Woodrow Wilson Woodward, Sr. and the late Rosalie Boley Woodward.
Mr. Woodward was a graduate of Culpeper High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. He retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation and was a member of Fredericksburg Elks Lodge # 875. He was a past president of the Caroline Jaycees. Mr. Woodward was an avid sportsman and particularly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He farmed for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Highlander Woodward; and three children: Roschelle Croushorn and her husband, Steve, of Bealton; Michael W. Woodward of Remington and Jennifer P. Woodward of Richmond. Additional survivors include grandchildren Tim Woodward and his wife, Diana, Bryan and Emily Woodward, and Justin, Brianne and Allison Croushorn.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Jean Woodward; and a son, Jeffery Wayne Woodward.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Brightwood.
Pallbearers will be Tim and Bryan Woodward, Steve and Justin Croushorn, Garry West, Robert Kelley, and Eric Hale.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen and Oliver Woodward, David Myers, Bruce Shepard, Ralph Pritt and Delma Coates.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
