Wilson Butch Jutson Wince, Jr.'s Obituary
Wilson “Butch” Jutson Wince, Jr., 48, of Culpeper, died Sunday, July 01, 2007 at the home of his sister. He was born on March 29, 1959 in Fauquier, VA to Wilson Jutson Wince, Sr. of Culpeper and the late Mildred Jeffries Wince.
After graduating from Culpeper County High School Butch went on to work for VDOT in Warrenton for 15 years and later ended his career in construction with his employer and best friend, Chuck Cmunt. Butch was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins and #24 Jeff Gordon and was extremely fond of his Eagle collection. He labored all his life and as someone once said, “He lived to work and he worked hard.”
In addition to his father Butch is survived by his children, Jamie Wince of Culpeper, Ashley Wince of Ruckersville, Shane Herndon of Richmond and Lisa Wince of Harrisonburg.
Additional survivors include his siblings, Irene Rose and her husband, Benny of Culpeper, Norma Mayo of Culpeper, David Wince of Culpeper, and Steve Wince of Madison, a grandson, Ethan Wince of Ruckersville, nieces and nephews, Keith and Tiffany Rose, Ryan and Whitney Mayo, Andrew, Jordan and Candace Wince, and Matt and Megan Wince, stepmother, Frances Wince and a very special friend, Harry Haun of Rixeyville.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ted Fuson officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers include, David Wince, Steve Wince, Benny Rose, Chuck Cmunt, William Long, Jr., and Bobby Johns.
Memorial contributions may be made in Butch’s name to Hospice of the Rapidan 1200 Sunset Lane, Suite 2320 Culpeper, VA 22701 and/or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1747 Culpeper, VA 22701.
