Willie Ed Whorton's Obituary
Willie Ed Whorton, 76, of Culpeper went home to be with his family in Heaven on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born March 10, 1935 Rappahannock County to the late Marie Whorton.
Mr. Whorton was a member of Culpeper Church of Christ. He loved wrestling, Redskins, and his dog Toby but above all he loved and cherished his family.
He is survived by three children, Kenny Whorton, Victor Whorton and Patsy Wallace and her husband, Bobby, all of Culpeper, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Whorton and one son, Charles Whorton.
The family would like to invite friends for a gathering at Culpeper Church of Christ on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 6 pm to celebrate Willie’s life. Minister Mike Morgan will be officiating.
