Willie R. Hume, Sr.'s Obituary
Willie R. Hume, Sr., 80, of Culpeper, Va. passed away on November 11, 2016. He was born in Fauquier County on October 5, 1936 to the late Willie J. Hume and Gertrude McDonald Hume.
Willie was an outspoken Washington Redskins fan and dearly loved listening to country music.
Mr. Hume is survived by his son, Willie R. Hume, Jr. and friend Faye of Culpeper, Va., his daughter Gail Renshaw of Portsmouth, Va., three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Hume is also survived by two sisters; Mildred D. Ward of Goldvien, Va. and Pat Jones and her husband John of Tappahannock, Va., a brother, Donald S. Hume, Sr. of Culpeper, Va., and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hume is preceded in death by two sisters; Barbara Jean Hume and Betty “Lou” Hume Randall, his wife Louisa Jenkins Hume, and a sister-in-law Betty Ann Hume.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Hume family cemetery in Orlean, Va.
