Willie Harvey Cole's Obituary
Willie Harvey Cole, 74, of Rixeyville, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 5, 1943 in Loudoun County, VA to the late John and Katie Tharpe Cole.
Harvey was a supporter for his loving family. He loved cracking jokes with family and friends, was a hard worker, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Gid Brown Hollow Baptist Church and was an avid Redskins fan. He greatly enjoyed watching westerns and car races and taking vacations. Harvey was a loving husband for 34 years, a loving father and grandfather and had many friends that loved and admired him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Cole; three children, Robyn Miller and her husband, Christopher of Lignum, Terra Cole of Orlean and William Harvey Cole of Orlean; eight siblings and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law whom he loved like a mom, Louise Fincham; and one daughter, Melissa Ann Cole.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Burke officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Katie Berry, Stevie Fincham, Wayne Clyde “Rocky” Fincham, Cecil Cole, Eddie Wright, Tom Pullen, Martin Settle, Jason Ivory, J.L. Dodson and Roy Fincham.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
