William Douglas Stringfellow's Obituary
William Douglas Stringfellow, Jr., 33, of Amissville, died Friday, September 07, 2007. He was born July 29, 1974 in Charlottesville, VA to William Douglas Stringfellow, Sr., and Linda Gerlitski Stanley.
Dougie was a hard-working man and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and being out on the water.
He is survived by his children, Ashley Stringfellow, William Stringfellow III, and Carley Stringfellow-Pullen, all of Amissville.
Additional survivors include his brother, Michael Stringfellow of Amissville, his sister, Linda Gentry of Orange, and his maternal grandmother, Martha Wilson. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Cathy Campbell Haines, special aunts Bonnie Menefee and Doris Escorzia, his girlfriend, Pam McPeak, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jim McGinis officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Justin Sherman, Bo Menefee, Jesse Stringfellow, Kyle Myers, David Middlebrook, and Tuck Middlebrook.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the family, c/o Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
