William Frank Wade's Obituary
William Frank Wade, 81, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Formerly of Leeds, Alabama, Bill worked for almost 40 years for the Otis Elevator Company. Bill and his wife then moved to Virginia after he retired to be with their daughter, Dannee and her family.
Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Louise Wade; a son, Jerry Wade and his wife, Heather of South Carolina; a daughter, Dannee Brown of Fredericksburg; a sister, Pat Sanders and her husband, Lloyd; and a brother, John Wade and his wife, Charlotte, all of Alabama; six grandchildren, Daniel, Ethan and Noelle Brown, and Lauren, Hannah and Dylan Wade; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at St. Matthias United Methodist Church with Pastor Pat Tony officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Bill’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Matthias United Methodist Church, 426 Deacon Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
