I miss Bill all the time. He was the innovation spark that happens at the beginning of every great idea, he was the connector that brings people together, he was the thinker that learns and tells without hesitation. I spent some great time with Bill and I never spent any time with him that wasn't exactly perfect. I never got to knows Bill's family but I do know they miss him even more than I do. My heart goes out to all of you.

Nancy & Doc,
The Leonard family would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Your husband (and father) was a great supporter of the ways of capitalism and often refering to myself as a "serial entrepreneur". Living direclty on the golf course (of which Doc plays regularly with my son) I remember Bill driving Doc down the 7th hole in a cart telling me in my back yard proudly "he's playing pretty well, this is for birdie". Unfortunatly lifes events get in the way and I had not seen Bill in awhile I still feel sadness for not spending more time with him. I wish you and Doc all the best during this difficult time and look foward to gazing out my window and seeing Doc doing what Bill enjoyed watching him do, playing golf. RU4LSU--today we all are.
God Bless,
Paul, Nancy, PJ, Morgan & Christina Leonard
I would like to express from the bottom of my heart my deeply sympathy to the family of Dr. Schulte. I feel that no words can describe my grief for our loss. There are many terrific things could be recounted about Dr. Schulte. Undoubtedly, he is extraordinary teacher. Time with him quickly elapsed. All students like and enjoy being with him, listening to his stories and lessens. From him I have learned unexpected useful things about myself, about others, and about life. I am considerably impressed by his way in teaching which based on creativity rather than memorizing. I have realized that his way is the best ever, and I will adapt his way when I get back home. Dr. Schulte believed that everyone has unique things in his/her personality, unique attribute of intelligence. And he had sincerely willingness to help out each single one of his students to discover his/her uniqueness, pull it out, and work on to improve and used it perfectly.
I have never seen a teacher treats each single of his students as a member of his family except Dr. Schulte. I feel that I do not just lost a teacher, actually I lost a guide, an usher, a mentor, and a friend. He passed away but definitely he is still within our thoughts, our hearts, our memory, and even our words.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Dr. Schulte. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. My cohort (2008) took several leadership classes under his tutelage. I will never forget the Fridays and Saturdays spent with Dr. Schulte going through the countless self assessments, presentations, and thought provoking discussions that forced us to look within ourselves to define who we are, who we want to be, and how we want to be remembered. He continuously emphasized the importance of family and putting loved one’s first. His unrelenting concern for the Katrina victims and his drive to promote Social Entrepreneurship was evidence of his compassion and kindness . I am sure that Dr. Schulte will be missed by all those who had the opportunity to know him. May God bless you all..Debra Boone

Dr. Schulte was a professor for five of my classes at SU and I am happy to say that I learned so much about myself through his classes. He truly cared for everyone and it showed! One memory that stands out the most comes from my first class (I am sure other students can recall this as well). After introductions, Dr. Schulte asked us to take five minutes and think about we would have written on our tombstone and how we would get there. Among many lessons we learned to leave the world a better place and how important the roles of our family and friends truly are. He will be greatly missed and I wish his family and those who knew him best, my love and prayers during this difficult time. Jane Derrick
