William P. Riley Jr.'s Obituary
William P. Riley, Jr., 82 of Spotsylvania County, died peacefully in his sleep at Golden Living Center of Fredericksburg on Friday, September 2, 2011.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Marie L. Riley.
He is survived by his two stepdaughters, Bonnie Simpson and her husband, Rick and Mary DeMerle, all of Fredericksburg.
Fondly known as papaw, he leaves behind his grandchildren, Robert Wood and his wife, Ginny, Traci Wood, Ashley DeMerle, Jessica DeBruhl and her husband, Ben, Brittany Chickos and her husband, Steven, Amie Fitzgerald and her husband, Michael and Melissa Moien; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, James and Marvin of North Carolina; four sisters, Shirley Somers of Fredericksburg, Carolyn Webb, Margaret Riley and Brenda Horner of North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Sunset memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg at 11:00am.
