William Henry Rector, Sr.'s Obituary
William Henry Rector, Sr., 78, of Culpeper passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 8, 1941 in Brandy Station, VA to the late Lewis and Evelyn Rector.
He is survived by 12 children, Jacqueline Banks, Cynthia Banks, Melissa Banks, Diane Washington (Boe), Gregory Banks, Melvin Porter, Gredel Rector, William H. Rector, Jr., Marcus William Robinson, Sr., and Rodney Wise, Jacqueline Timbers and Kelly Timbers; and his fiancé, Kathy J. Washington.
Additional survivors include one sister, Sarah Ann Banks; his aunt, Shirly J. Chichester (John); faithful cousin and close friend, James Parker; close friend, Bart Goulf; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Gwendolyn Timbers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Culpeper Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Reese Washington officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove Memorial Gardens, Jeffersonton, VA.
