William Gerald Morrison's Obituary
William Gerald Morrison, 67, of Culpeper died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1948 in Louisville, KY to the late William Gilbert Morrison and Sylvia Mae Underwood Morrison.
Mr. Morrison was a retired Field Artillery 1st Sergeant of the U.S. Army with over 24 years of active duty service. He loved the Army and all military soldiers and was a very active member of the American Legion Post 330. He enjoyed fishing and mowing the lawn.
He is survived by his wife, Chong Cha Kang Morrison; four children, Suki Mason and her husband, Tim of Culpeper, Sun Kyu Morrison and his wife, Kim of Baltimore, MD, Rocky Morrison and his wife, Rhonda of Jarrell, TX and Garnet Morrison of St. Louis, MO; two grandchildren, Paul Mason of Culpeper and Amelia Morrison of Baltimore, MD; and two siblings, Joe Morrison and his wife, Linda of Copperas Cove, TX and Rocky Morrison and his wife, Beverly of Louisville, KY.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be private at Culpeper National Cemetery.
