William Miller's Obituary
William Laird Miller, 82, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family
William was born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania to the late Laird and Pearl Miller.
He was a Lt. Commander and pilot in the Navy and worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as a computer systems analyst.
William is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara Miller; two daughters, Ingrid Sides and her husband, William and Sheila Lane; two grandsons, William H. Sides and Gabriel M. Sides; a granddaughter, Katherine E. Sides; a sister, Margaret E. Willman of Alabama and many nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his sister, Mary E. Wolle
William’s family will receive friends on Wednesday August 26, 2009 from 10am-12pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 26, 2009 at 1pm in Quantico National Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Schultz officiating.
